Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Cartside account and all of your data at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Request deletion by email

Email us from the address on your Cartside account at hello@cartsideapp.com with the subject "Delete my account". We'll verify it's you and permanently delete your account within 30 days (usually much sooner).

Delete from within the app

If your version of Cartside has it, you can also delete your account directly in the app:

1. Open Cartside and go to the Account tab.
2. Tap Delete account.
3. Confirm. Your account and data are removed right away and you're signed out.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account we permanently remove:

• Your account and profile — email address and name.
• Your saved shopping list and saved meals.
• Your address / ZIP code and account settings.

What we may keep

We do not retain your personal data after deletion, with two limited exceptions:

• Subscription records — if you subscribed, basic billing and transaction records may be retained where required for tax, accounting, or legal reasons. Payments are handled by the Apple App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat under their own retention policies.
• Anonymized, aggregate data that no longer identifies you.

Canceling a subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings so you aren't billed again.
